Diana was born in Trujillo, Peru, and received her Masters of Public Health in 2017 and her Nursing degree in 2014, both from the National University of Trujillo (UNT). As an MPH student, she graduated in the top fifth of her class and specialized in community health. She is currently a PhD candidate for Public Health, to continue her passion. Diana is fluent in English & Spanish.
“I am a nurse and now I assumed the position of Vice president of Hands On Peru after I discovered that working in Public health is my true calling. Now I am really glad to be part of CESAPU team and I am dedicating my career to caring for this community. I am implementing and improving the strategies of CESAPU- Centro de Salud Publica in order to create healthy communities through interactive programs and the APOC- Atencion Primaria Orientada a la Comunidad, working every single day to empower this community. I will be so excited to welcome you and share with you all of my knowledge and experiences in public health.
